Epifor MES License
This License governs the use of the Epifor MES software (the "Software") and is granted by EPOPTIA P.C., the company behind Epifor ("Epoptia"), G.E.MI. no. 147698736000, 312 Andrea Syngrou Avenue, 176 73 Athens, Greece. It forms part of, and in case of conflict prevails over our Terms & Conditions.
1. Software covered by this License
The Software is licensed today under the name Epifor MES. It was previously licensed under the names Epoptia MES and Epoptia Cloud MES. Epifor MES, Epoptia MES and Epoptia Cloud MES are one and the same software product, supplied by the same company. Only the product name changed, on 24 July 2026. The licensor, EPOPTIA P.C., is unchanged.
Every reference to "the Software" in this License covers the product under all three names. A licence granted, a purchase order placed or a subscription signed under the name Epoptia MES or Epoptia Cloud MES remains in force and is governed by this document. Nothing needs to be signed or reissued because of the name change.
This License replaces the licence terms previously issued under the names Epoptia MES and Epoptia Cloud MES and applies to those earlier licence periods as well, so a licence acquired before the effective date below is covered without interruption. Earlier versions of the licence terms are available on request at info@epifor.com.
2. License grant
Subject to a valid subscription or a purchase order under the one-off purchase plan, including subscriptions and purchase orders issued under the name Epoptia MES or Epoptia Cloud MES, Epoptia grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for your internal business operations, for the duration of your subscription or agreement.
Certified partners holding a partnership agreement may additionally use the Software in testing and development environments and may develop peripheral modules for the Software and distribute them under license terms compatible with this License.
3. Restrictions
You may not: modify the source code of the Software without Epoptia's written permission; transfer, publish, distribute, sublicense, rent, or sell the Software or access to it; remove copyright or proprietary notices, which must be retained in any permitted copy or installation; or use the Software except as allowed by this License, the Terms & Conditions, and applicable law. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded (including under Directive 2009/24/EC) remain unaffected.
4. Ownership
The Software and all related intellectual property rights are and remain the property of Epoptia or its licensors. This applies equally to the Software under its earlier names, Epoptia MES and Epoptia Cloud MES. No rights are granted other than those expressly stated in this License. Data you enter into the Software remains yours, as described in the Terms & Conditions.
5. Term and termination
This License is effective for as long as your subscription or agreement is active and ends automatically upon its termination or expiry. A subscription or agreement signed under the name Epoptia MES or Epoptia Cloud MES continues to run under its original term. Upon termination, use of the Software must cease; data export and deletion are handled as described in the Terms & Conditions.
6. Warranties, liability and governing law
Warranties, liability (including the limitations and the mandatory-law carve-outs), governing law and jurisdiction are governed by the Terms & Conditions. This License does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded under Greek law.
